Sometimes when Snafu's unruly behavior towards the other cats gets to be too much, I pick him up out of the fray, put him down on his cat bed, pet him with one or two long strokes to set his motor going.
If I'm lucky, he goes into....
The Zone!
If you have trouble viewing watch here on YouTube
You can tell, he wants little to do with me when he is in The Zone.
Then he'll fold down into his nice fluffy bed and go to sleep!

ReplyDeleteOops, "good"
ReplyDeleteOh my, I see what you mean.
ReplyDeleteWe're just impressed Snafu actually has a Zone. MOL!
ReplyDeleteBTW, Nicki is a lot like that--when he starts his kneading and purring, he's not much into being petted at the same time. He's got his Zone too. :-D

Eric does that lots too. He even does it on mum's head but she doesn't really appreciate it. I only started about six months ago. I must be a late learner.
