A Snafu Friday

Do you remember those coin operated rides for kids that were in front of grocery or department stores?

Snafu loves to go for a ride on our dryer!

TBT: Snafu Loves Vacuum Cleaner

Here's an old video from our life at the mobile home a few years ago.

Snafu, being mostly deaf, just loves the vacuum cleaner.

I don't use a big huge machine like that anymore.

Fu and Yu: Stand Off at the Window

Fu wants in and Yu wants out

What to do....

I walked away and returned 10 minutes later...

The stand off only intensified.
This required human intervention.

I picked up Yukon (he hissed at me, but I kissed on him), and Fu came right inside. Then I put Yukon back down, and he went outside.
Happy cats!

All in a days work for a cat mum!

Mancat Monday with Snafu

Snafu is showing off the latest addition to the cat enclosure.

A cat house!!

It's filled with straw and all the kitties are loving it.

However, as kitties will do, they've been trying real hard to jump on top of the house.
So, even though this roof took a lot of work to construct, MamaLindy is working on a flat roof so kitties can have yet one more place to hang out!
Pictures coming soon!

Click here to see how our cat enclosure was built.

Mr Lazy Pants and the Peaceable Kingdom

Such well behaved boys eating on the table!

And then there's Mr. Lazy Pants!

Snafu doesn't eat this way all the time, but he does eat separated from the others (as does Penny).

A peaceable kingdom is our goal.

Mancat Monday with Snafu

Snafu saw the empty soup pot waiting to be washed and decided to step right in and help himself.

I thought he might enjoy it
so I left it out on purpose :).

Flashback Friday: Snafu

Snafu as a young kitten one month old.

Those eyes, though now green, still stare at me the same way.

I thought surely I reposted this picture recently, but I couldn't find it.

You can read Snafu's rescue story written when he was a year old right here.

Fold Not Tuck

Snafu's double-paws are so big, he can't tuck them under...

So he just folds them one in front of the other!

Triad Tuesday

Snafu, Wizard and Yukon

Wizard runs from Snafu (when he's awake).
When he sees Snafu coming toward him, he trots quickly out of his path and usually jumps up high for safety.

Snafu's big paws pack a major wallop. His favorite move is a left-right-left, 1-2-3 to the face and ears, with a possible bite if the victim's not fast enough.

Yukon is the only cat who'll stare him down, but Snafu is not above sneak attacks and has walloped Yukon from behind a couple of times.

Such is the life and times of felines.

Thanks for stopping by.

P.S. Sorry if anyone got this post twice. We had technical difficulties I've edited it in between posts.

Snafu's Safety Zone

When searching for a house, we looked for one with at least two bedrooms, since Snafu needs his own room.

It's his safety zone and other cats are not allowed in (well, except Owen, who is the only kitty Snafu likes)!

Most mornings Snafu comes out to be with me while all the other kitties snooze in the other bedroom.
I coax them in with cat treats, and those do not comply, get carried in. Generally they settle down pretty quickly.

Snafu share's his space with the kitty litter center (it's a Lucky Champ system),

and the laundry.

But he has plenty of options for snoozing and has two windows.

Humans are welcome anytime!
