Flashback Friday with Angus

Little Mr Handsome Puffy Angus when we were still fostering him July 2007.

He still likes to play with the largest toys. At night he carries them around in his mouth, while he meows his "call of the wild" muffled by his catch.

Angus, whose name was originally Parris, stayed in our foster room with a young female named Laurel (because she was found in the mountain laurel bushes outside the humane society). She was adopted to a nice lady.

Angus tugged on my heart strings (which I believe is called a failed foster?!) and he's been wonderful addition to our family ever since.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. We can see why he was a foster fail -- what a cutie he was!

    Have a lovely weekend!

  2. Angus is a lovely and we're sure you'll all welcome him with open arms and paws.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx

  3. Hello brother of a different mother! At first I thought the first picture was a picture of me!

  4. What cute kitten pics of Angus! Boodie loves carrying toys (i.e., "prey") in her mouth and meowing too. She's discovered that if she does it during the day instead of in the middle of the night when the humans are trying to sleep, her prey does not get taken away!

  5. That isn't foster failure, it is being a great foster mom. I can see why you had to have him.

  6. What a sweet little boy. No wonder you had to keep him.

Thank you for taking the time to comment. We read every one of them!
