A Snafu Friday

What is Snafu up to now?

We ask ourselves that question every time we hear his sweet trills and chirps coming from the kitchen.

We come running only after we hear

KER-PLUNK!

Yes. That is our telephone in the water bowl.

And to emphasize the point...

I'm pointing to it as Snafu inspects his handywork.

3 days later, it worked just fine.

This is where we used to keep the phone.

And now you'll find it in here...

Please leave a message, we'll call you back.

  1. Snafu! You are quite the character!!

Our Grammie used to keep her bread in the microwave away from the mice. It does make a good safe!

  4. Oh gosh ,that looks like something we would do to our Mom. Bet it was fun watching it splash in the water. Now the phone is all locked up. Too funny. Our Mom locks up the toilet paper here.

  8. Snafu, you look innocent to us; there are so many of you, we think you should run like hell when something loud happens and never confess to the crime!!...Maybe you just try to live up to your name??...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

  9. Oh my word.... that is the largest thing I've ever seen a kitty put in his/her water dish. I guess Snafu got tired of the constant ringing.
He certainly lives up to his name.

  10. Way to go Snafu! I could learn a lot from you. I do the same sort of stuff, but I'm not quite that talented.

  11. Pee Ess...I'm sure it's because one of those silly telephone solicitors was calling. You were just trying to protect your mom from them.

  22. The better we get to know Snafu, the more we want to stress: make sure that microwave isn't plugged in.

  23. Haha Snafu, you are funny. We bet it was the phone's fault. It must have started ringing and vibrated all the way to the water bowl. Yup, that must be what happened, right?

  24. Snafu! We are so impressed with how you aimed that phone into the water dish!! Good job!

  33. Mom keeps all sorts of stuff in the microwave too. She said it's kitty proof.

  34. Snafu being naughty? I refuse to believe that.

    ReplyDelete
  35. You 'prolly did not want to talk to those telemarkers anyways, right, Snafu?

  36. Snafu is showing he wants to be a sceintist when he grows up (if he ever des!) - he is proving gravity works. Mom is so thankful I don't whap stuff off surfaces - my cousin Audrey does just the same sort of thing with anything on a kitchen counter. Olive oil bottles are the worst!

  37. Haha! That's a high qality phone surviving all those cats!

    ReplyDelete
  38. And I thought we had it bad when the cats started knocking notes left on the table into theirs! :)

  39. We think Snafu was very sweet to give the phone swimming lessons.
