Looks are deceiving...
I'd love to tell you this is a snuggly cozy shot of two kitties who love each other...
well, it is that too, but it's really a picture of surrender.
Through a major whap and bitey fest, Nick has surrendered to Penny's demands to let her
stay in the bed he was napping in,
as long as he can stay too. Penny agreed.
Penny knows very well that Nick is a good hearted fellow.
It wasn't all that long ago that he taught her how to wash.

Aww Nick! How could you resist that perfect fluff of cuteness that is Penny!
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, you two look so cute and cozy all snuggley like that!
:-)
Take care

Awww! Those pics are so cute! We wish our whap and bitey fests ended as cute as that.
ReplyDeleteIt *does* look like a "snuggly cozy shot of two kitties who love each other." LOL.
ReplyDeleteMaybe we'll get to see the whap and bitey fest when Friday's Fight Nights return?
Oh how sweet! Snuggling is awesome, even if you had a whapfest to get there!
ReplyDeleteNick has learned that darling kittens turn into adult lady diva cats in the blink of an eye. Nick you are a wise mancat....you have to pick your battles and as long as Penny doesn't hog all the space it is ok.

Oh, what adorable pictures today! The kitten shot has a real "Awwwww" factor.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious because it sounds like Penny always gets her way. In my house Domino is dominant amongst the three -- and the other two are males, of course.
In your house, they're all male with the exception of Penny. Does she rule, too?
It seems to be quite prevalent that the female will dominate in such circumstances.
Well, they DO look lovely together!
ReplyDeleteHmmm, that would explain why Nick has his paw over Penny, he's making sure she doesn't whap him again. That photo of Nick with the baby Penny is adorable! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love these 2 pictures!! so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteHow happy to see the kitten stay together and especially, loving each other.
What totally adorable pics of Nick and Penny....the last one reminded us of when I, Sammy, helped raise infant Andy........Andy thought I was his furmama!!!! MOL xxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteOh those are both such cute pictures of them together!
ReplyDeleteToo precious!
ReplyDeleteLooks at first can be deceiving if you don't know the story behind! Sweet pict tho.
ReplyDeleteAW, sometimes the best nap comes after a good whapping!
ReplyDeleteOh, there is nothing so sweet as one kitty looking after a kitten. The old mother instinct kicks in sometimes and the wash-fest is on. Beautiful, both of them. Deb
ReplyDeleteThat is just so sweet!

ReplyDeleteNo wonder Penny is so patient with Nick. What a sweet little kitten she was, of course Nick couldn't resist.
ReplyDeleteNicky...sometimes you gotta let the girls win...or at least let them think they did!
ReplyDeleteBaby Penny is so adorable.
ReplyDeleteThey just can't help themselves, they're cute!
ReplyDeleteThey do look cuddly and cozy together even if it is a compromise.
ReplyDeleteOk, that washing picture has us all melted into puddles on the floor!
ReplyDeleteAw, that is just plain adorable! Love the look on Penny's face as she gets washed. :)
ReplyDeleteWe have a few of those type of photos.....so innocent looking, but I know seconds before or after the shot things did NOT look the same ;)
ReplyDeleteThose cat beds with "bolsters" are soooo cozy! And what an awww-dorable kitten pix of you, Penny!
