Two Cat Tuesday - Nick and Penny

Looks are deceiving...

I'd love to tell you this is a snuggly cozy shot of two kitties who love each other...

well, it is that too, but it's really a picture of surrender.

Through a major whap and bitey fest, Nick has surrendered to Penny's demands to let her
stay in the bed he was napping in,
as long as he can stay too. Penny agreed.

Penny knows very well that Nick is a good hearted fellow.

It wasn't all that long ago that he taught her how to wash.

  3. It *does* look like a "snuggly cozy shot of two kitties who love each other." LOL.

Maybe we'll get to see the whap and bitey fest when Friday's Fight Nights return?

  5. Nick has learned that darling kittens turn into adult lady diva cats in the blink of an eye. Nick you are a wise mancat....you have to pick your battles and as long as Penny doesn't hog all the space it is ok.

  6. Oh, what adorable pictures today! The kitten shot has a real "Awwwww" factor.

I'm curious because it sounds like Penny always gets her way. In my house Domino is dominant amongst the three -- and the other two are males, of course.

In your house, they're all male with the exception of Penny. Does she rule, too?

It seems to be quite prevalent that the female will dominate in such circumstances.

  7. Hmmm, that would explain why Nick has his paw over Penny, he's making sure she doesn't whap him again. That photo of Nick with the baby Penny is adorable! xoxo

  13. Oh, there is nothing so sweet as one kitty looking after a kitten. The old mother instinct kicks in sometimes and the wash-fest is on. Beautiful, both of them. Deb
